HazMat Team Meeting/Training

 The Northland training committee met recently to discuss the teams training schedule. It was decided that it would better accommodate the teams schedules, and needs if we were to hold trainings at the individual stations on a rotating basis using in-house instructors and instructors from within the other parts of the team.

   The committee drafted a list of subjects that they felt were most needed and the members of the committee will produce the course materials and present the courses to the teams.

   The courses will include :

Leak Stopping, using the Cromwell Kits

Instruments

Chemistry Reference materials

9 classes of chemicals

Small Spill procedures

Table Top Drills

Decontamination using mass decon equipment, and personnel decon

Area Rae and Hazmat ID
